Bio

Welcome to Mrs. Johnson’s 5th grade class where every students is a STAR! This is my 6th year teaching at Meadowview Elementary School. I was born and raised in the Historic Selma, AL and I’m a proud alumni of Selma High School. After graduation I attended The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, where I earned my bachelors degree in Elementary Education.

I'm a mother of two. Science is my favorite subject, because of all of the cool learning experiments! During my free time I really enjoy painting canvases and learning new baton tricks! "The Watsons Go to Birmingham" and "A Bad Case of Stripes" are two of my all time favorite books! Meat loaf Cup Cakes does a great job making my tummy smile….you should try it for lunch or dinner!

My biggest joy over the past 5 years has been to see the light in the eyes of young children when "they" are confident that they can learn. I look foward to working with you and the students of Meadowview Elementary this 2017-2018 academic school year!

GO LIONS!
